Reviews From Our Clients
“Hello, this is Carol Moore, and we had a chimney built by Ace Construction and Fireplace. We are very satisfied by the work, and it looks beautiful. They were very professional and kept constant communication while the job was being done and completed. Their crew was excellent, and the chimney looked immaculate when the job was done. They take pride in their work. It was a pleasure doing business with Eddie.”
“Hello, this is Diane Macauley. We recently completed a sizable remodel of our family room. Ace Construction and Fireplace did the bulk of the work, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. We especially love our new fireplace, which was constructed exactly as per our description. The work was done professionally, timely, and reasonably priced. What impressed us the most was that the project manager kept us in the loop. Every time there was a procedural option, he asked our preference. We were very impressed with the work and the personnel.”
Edward King was my general contractor for the remodeling and addition to our house last year. There was something to be done in every room of the house. There was so much involved. He had excellent subcontractors working under him. Some of the work included: Remodel bathroom, including replacing floor tile and adding wall tile (three types of tiles on the walls), plus tile above the shower/tub combination. A cabinet, mirror, light fixture, towel ring and bar, toilet, and wall-mounted sink were installed. Install lighting fixtures Install plumbing fixtures in the master bath Build a small cabinet in the kitchen for my satellite box Replace all the baseboards in the house Build out the front closet Install solar tubes throughout the house Install new roof I know there were more things, but my memory isn't what it used to be. We wanted to increase the size of our living room and add a luxury bathroom. Eddie did an excellent job with the new construction. He created a high, peaked ceiling in the addition to the living room, including track lighting. He installed a skylight. He painted the walls in the living room and in other rooms. He came up with the idea of a recessed shelf high up in the living room where there would have been wasted space. In the new bathroom, he installed the toilet, the jetted tub, the sink, mirror, the cabinet and granite top, towel bars, toilet tissue holder, heat vents, air circulation fans for both hot and cold air, mirror, light bar, mounted liquid soap holder, floor tiles, wall tiles half way up the wall, including two types of accent tiles, and pocket doors for the bathroom so that my son could enter from his room and guests could enter from the living room (with locks, of course). At the back of the living room, he installed a door to the deck. He ripped out our old deck and installed a huge composite deck. This includes aluminum railing all around and two sets of steps from the deck to the backyard. He built a gazebo that juts out from the deck. It has eight glass windows with screens. It's wired with electricity, and has a lighted ceiling fan with speed adjustment. Inside, it feels like you are up north because the interior is made of wood that is varnished. On top there is a large weather vane. The gazebo has siding that matches the house, and the roof shingles match the roof shingles. Eddie did an amazing job, and we will always be grateful for the fine work he did. And we thought his price was fair and reasonable. Feel free to contact me. Jacalyn Simon
